A sample of experiences available:

The Rock Spa
Our small spa pavilion offers a small range of treatments & operates with 2 therapists. Please confirm in advance if spa treatments are required and we will do our best to accommodate requirements. If one of the therapist is on leave, we will not be able to offer double treatment. A spa menu is available on our website with a current price list.

Yoga
Complimentary yoga is offered most days (when our spa therapist who conducts the sessions is on property) early in the morning by request. It’s all about the basics in these slower moving classes that require you to hold each pose for a few breaths. Gentle yoga, at a slower pace. For more advance yoga, a private session may be booked at any time of the day at additional charge. The charges are included on the spa menu.

Estate Walks
Guests are free to explore the Estate on the paths at their own convenience. In addition guided Estate walks are also available with the Estate Superintendent. These walks take place in the afternoon at approximately 4:00pm. Guided walks with the superintendent are not available during the estate working hours.
There is no charge for a guided walk but it should be pre-booked. We suggest a small tip for the superintendent.

Cooking Lesson (minimum two persons)
Should be pre-booked and may be shared with other guests up to a maximum of 8 guests. . The cooking lesson starts with a visit to the hotel’s organic garden with the chef. The hands-on cooking class include 5 dishes with ingredients that are readily available in most countries. Guests will be able to enjoy the lunch. Guests not participating in cooking lessons but wishing to eat the lunch prepared during the cooking lesson will be charged a standard lunch charge.

Tea Factory
The Rosyth Estate tea factory is situated 300 meters from the Estate House. There is a small charge of USD20 for up to 4 guests or 2 adults and 3 children to visit the factory. The factory is not owned by the hotel and we cannot guarantee that the factory will be open, sometimes closing on Poya days and other public holidays. We suggest all visits are pre-booked and we will do our best to accommodate all requests. Taking pictures within the factory is not permitted as prescribed by the Ceylon Tea Board. The Tea Factory is closed for 1 – 2 weeks during the Sinhala Tamil New year dates in April – therefore for any reservations which fall during these dates, please let clients know that the Tea Factory visit would not be possible.
