Fort Bazaar

Fort Bazaar is an 18-room boutique hotel located at the heart of Galle Fort - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Formerly a spice merchant's home, the building is historic yet the interiors have been beautifully reinvented for the contemporary traveler.

The hotel's restaurant, Church Street Social, is one of Galle’s most vibrant dining venues, welcoming hotel guests and walk-ins alike. Menus include Sri Lankan, Southeast Asian, and European flavours, often incorporating fresh seafood.

The hotel also features a small, intimate spa, which offers a number of massages, facials, and body treatments.

Accommodation

The 18 rooms are all furnished with either a king-sized bed or two twin beds, and adjoining rooms can be provided for families travelling together. All rooms feature a private ensuite, air conditioning and ceiling fan, satellite TV, hairdryer, complimentary Wifi, and tea & coffee making facilities.

Rooms have either a view of the courtyard or a private veranda/terrace. The largest room, the Upper Suites, also include a sitting area with sofa, a large private balcony with views across the fort’s rooftops, and a large bathroom with rain shower and freestanding bathtub.
