Le Quartier Français is a 25-room boutique, family-friendly auberge, located in the heart of Franschhoek. The property is the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding winelands and to discover the village and its charms.

Guests can relax in the 15 metre swimming pool, wander through the beautifully-landscaped gardens, or enjoy the facilities at sister properties Leeu Estates and Leeu House, which include multiple dining options, a spa, nature trails, and art galleries.

The hotel features two distinguished restaurants:

Protégé

A casual fine dining eatery featuring stylish dishes with Asian, French and Italian influences. Guests can choose to dine al fresco, or inside with full view of the chefs at work in the open kitchen. A trendy small plates menu is ideal for sharing. Open for lunch and dinner, while resident guests can choose to take breakfast in Protégé.

Épice

A flavour-packed fine dining experience, based on Indian cuisine with additional influences from chef's travels to Europe, North America and Japan.

There is also the opportunity to book The Conservatory, La Petite Colombe and The Dining Room restaurants at Leeu Estates.

Art

Leeu Collection's passion for supporting artists is evident throughout the property, with a wealth of paintings and sculptures in a wide range of styles.

The Great Heart Wine Boutique

Great Heart Wines is a staff empowerment project by the Mullineux team and their wines can be sampled in the boutique. Guests at Le Quartier Français and Leeu House are entitled to a complimentary guided tasting once during their stay.

Everard Read

Everard Read Franschhoek is a considered gallery space showing the best modern and contemporary works by South African artists. Adjacent to Le Quartier Français, the gallery includes a sculpture garden interwoven with fresh herbs and vegetables that provide fresh produce for the hotel's restaurant menus.
