Anahita Golf & Spa Resort

Anahita is pretty much unique in Mauritius and really deserves to be better known than it is, because there is so much to admire about this fabulous resort on the East coast.

Accommodation is in 1 and 3 'beds' suites, as well as 1 to 2 'beds' villas and three to five bedrooms luxury villas. The suites and villas are modern with large living areas, designer kitchens, private swimming pool with deck and seating area. Forget about tripping over your suitcases as you edge around your bed. At Anahita you have ample space, even for large families.


The villas give the resort something of a marina or club feel, featuring 2 infinity edge swimming pools with service and 1 relaxation swimming pool, beach, chilled-out bar, boutique, coffee shop, kids’ and teens club, a Spa and of course restaurants. Service and dining are without a doubt out of the top drawer and would give even the most expensive resorts on the island a run for their money. While all the facilities of a luxury resort are on hand, you also have the option to retreat to your suite, where you can order dinner from the restaurant, request a private chef, or even cook yourself. The friendly staff will even stock your refrigerator to order before your arrival if you so wish!

The only criticism in the past that we could level at Anahita was that the beach was somewhat limited. This is now more than satisfactorily resolved, as the resort has acquired a beautiful, quiet, tucked-away stretch of beach on Ile Aux Cerfs, which is reached by a delightful leisurely boat ride that shuttles back and forth affording mesmerising views of the lagoon, coastline, and the island's dramatic mountain backdrop. Drinks and snacks are still on hand if spending the day with your toes in the sand.


If you’re more active, then a wide range of water and land sports are on offer, including unlimited, complimentary golf at both Anahita and the Ile Aux Cerfs courses, and adventure to be found nearby at Domaine de l'Etoile.
