Atmosphere Kanifushi

Kanifushi was the first offering from Maldivian operator Atmosphere Hotels and Resorts, targeting the growing interest in higher quality all inclusive resorts. It opened in 2013.

The island is one of the longest in the Maldives (2.5km) with an impressive beach on the sunset side and rugged shoreline on the other at the edge of the atoll. All of the well-appointed and well-sized beach villas (including family villas) and suites are on the sunset side, each with private beach access. 40 over water villas were added in 2019. Electric buggies are on hand to transport guests to the main island areas when they don’t feel like walking, and bicycles can be rented for a small daily fee for those feeling more adventurous (all fees are donated to a children’s foundation on a neighbouring local island).

The extensive KANIFUSHI PLAN is very generous and includes numerous branded drinks and the award-winning Just Veg restaurant as a dining option – well worth a visit, but you’ll need to book. There's also a seafood fine dining outlet on the water villa jetty. With an impressive array of facilities and activities, this resort remains hugely popular with couples and families alike.
