The hotel was one of the first in the world to construct a wetland system with lakes and reed beds to form a private nature reserve, allowing dwellings to be built in and over water, paddy field, forest, marsh and garden surroundings. The property is set amidst parklands and woodlands, thereby giving guests a unique opportunity of witnessing the magnificent environment at its best. There are 30 rooms (called "Dwellings" divided into five different types: Garden, Water, Marsh, Paddy and Forest Dwellings.
