Kurumba Watersports

A brand new Watersports and Dive Centre has been constructed close to the arrivals area to bring the standard of facilities on offer in line with the high standards found elsewhere in the resort. The Dive Centre is PADI affiliated.

Despite its proximity to the capital, the waters around Kurumba are still crystal clear and the reef edge still offers excellent snorkelling. A selection of good dive sites are available in North and South Male Atoll and accessible from Kurumba.

The lagoon inside the protective coral wall which surrounds the island provides an ideal environment for canoeing, novice windsurfing and leisurely safe swimming. Catamaran sailing is also available and worth experiencing in these tropical surroundings.

Motorised watersports including banana riding, ringo riding and waterskiing are available at a charge.
