Beaches & House Reef

Generally the beach around the island is good although it is broken up by groynes. The lagoon around the island is mixed, nice and sandy at the south end but full of dead coral and not ideal for swimming at the north end. However there is good snorkelling around the south end near the jetty and bar/restaurant.

Bars

Sand Bar
The meeting place at the heart of the resort where guests can socialise in a relaxed and casual environment. Tranquil music and quiet entertainment for your peace of mind, is the routine at the Sand Bar. The weekly slide shows depicts the beauty of the Maldives' undersea world as you enjoy a refreshing drink. The traditional ‘bodu beru’ programme held once a week at the Sand Bar, gives you a glimpse of tradtional music and dancing. Sunset cocktails on the beach are also a special item of the Sand Bar.

Gift Shop
The Feyli Boutique stocks tropical wear of your choice. Hand printed T-shirts and souvenirs are also available. Consider designing tropical wear of your own style and have it tailored.

AAVUN Spa
A recent addition to Makunudu, this small but perfectly formed spa offers a range of treatments to relax and rejuvenate. There is both a single and doubles treatment room available.
