Our Opinion
Vilamendhoo is a good value resort in a great location in the South Ari Atoll. Contemporary in style with a wide range of facilities and nearly 200 rooms, the island attracts those who are looking for a bit more activity than quieter, more traditional resorts.

Vilamendhoo boasts a good, easily accessed house reef, as well as the numerous renowned diving sites found in South Ari.

Summary
Located in the southeast corner of the Ari Atoll, this oval Island is nearly 800 metres long and 250 metres wide at its widest point, covering approximately 5 acres. The seaplane transfer from Male International Airport is a scenic 25 -minute flight.

The island has lush tropical vegetation and palm trees, and is surrounded by a white sandy beach and a great house reef, ideal for snorkelling.

The resort has an large range of facilities and an extensive selection of activities available, both on land and in the water.

This area is renowned for its excellent dive sites. The Dive Centre (run by Euro-Divers) offers guided diving and boat snorkelling trips as well as complete PADI instructional programmes for SCUBA diving.
